The Higher Institute of Business Administration according to the law number /40/ in 23/6/2001 as a general organization related to the minister of high education located in Damascus, has an artificial personality and financial and administrative independency. It is considered as the first governmental university specialized in business administration in Syria.

The institute aims to develop the human resources and the working staff in the general, private, and common sector through the specialized academic education in administration sciences; to train and prepare graduated people in all specializations and all the levels in business administration in all sectors; to present the consultant services, and to make administrator, financial, commercial, and organizational studies, in addition to organizing courses, conferences, and periodic workshops.

• Marketing Management and International Trading Department
• Financial and Banking Management Department.
• Human Resources Management Department.
• Basic Sciences Department.
