Ms. Lilas Tomeh

graduated from the United States of America with Bachelor's and Master's of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics, her background is International Nutrition and Public Health.

She is also certified in adult weight management.

She has worked with UNICEF-Syria as a technical officer for nutrition in emergencies; she then moved to WHO -the Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office in Cairo – Egypt as a technical officer for the nutrition unit.

Ms. Tomeh established her own clinic "The Nutrition Consulting Center" in Damascus-Syria in 2005 for nutrition consulting and diet therapy. In addition, she is a lecturer in both the Syrian University and Al Kalamoon (Faculty of Human Sciences) where she teaches community nutrition and nutrition assessment courses for senior and years.

Ms. Tomeh was named "best lecturer for the year 2010".
